Search the database

Data on 803 wetlands spreading across 75 islands have been registered in the database. Users can browse through information on the wetlands using the keywords available in the column on the left. A search can be simple, by selecting a single keyword, or combined words, thus allowing for greater result filtration. Online reports include inventory data, a map showing each wetland’s exact boundaries, and a few distinctive images. Reports can be downloaded in .pdf format.

It is equally possible to perform searches on island wetlands through Oikoskopio, the WWF Greece’s mapping application. Polygon pop-ups provide links to the relevant reports in Ygrotopio.

In the coming months, the database will be constantly checked for potential malfunctions and enriched with more literature data.
